graduated from iphone/ipad version to mac version:
need to license to one person rather than every type of Apple device;

notify in Growl - i turned on sound alert and when I turned it back off sound did not go away. Had to remove from Growl application list. Nest run reinserted ipScanner with no sound (whew - it was a 25 minute song!);

latest version has lots of niceties...
