Misrepresented Capability – Unreliable Operation

While the developer claims that this app will support 21 “devices” this is only true for very simple networks. In fact, the app will display 21 IP addresses but 1 IP address may not be equal to one device. For example, the combination of iPhone plugged into a MacBook (two devices) may use 5 IP addresses. So much for truth in advertising.

A second problem with app is that it does not reliably detect static addresses. In my case, 2 IP Phones that are always active were only detected occasionally until I set them to use DHCP. When I looked at the support FAQ on the developer website I see that this was a issue in 2011 as well so I assume it has never been resolved
